PDPL Compliance

Jarrib is operated by Nexever Digital Technologies LLC, Dubai, UAE ("Nexever"). Jarrib operates in full compliance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL). We are committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of all our users, including tryers, businesses, and visitors to our platform. This commitment is embedded in our technology, processes, and culture.

Under the PDPL, we process personal data based on the following lawful grounds:

• Consent — obtained clearly and explicitly during account registration and campaign participation;
• Contractual necessity — required to deliver our platform services;
• Legal obligation — compliance with UAE laws and regulations;
• Legitimate interests — fraud prevention, platform security, and service improvement, balanced against your rights.

Under the PDPL, you have the following rights:

• Right to know — be informed about how your data is collected and used;
• Right to access — request a copy of your personal data;
• Right to correction — request inaccurate data be corrected;
• Right to deletion — request your data be deleted (with certain legal exceptions);
• Right to object — object to certain types of processing;
• Right to withdraw consent — withdraw your consent at any time;
• Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured format.

We will respond to all requests within 30 days.

Jarrib primarily stores and processes data within the UAE. In cases where data transfer outside the UAE is necessary (e.g., cloud services, payment processing), we ensure that adequate protection measures are in place as required by the PDPL. We only work with service providers who demonstrate compliance with international data protection standards.

In the unlikely event of a personal data breach, Jarrib will notify the UAE Data Office within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, as required by the PDPL. If the breach is likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will also notify affected users directly without undue delay.
